Online Marketing Manager/Media Buyer

- Are you an online media professional with a proven track record in media buying/planning? Do you have experience building traffic through affiliates and other sources, performing analyses and optimizations? We are looking for a top notch professional to join our tier-one team.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Online Marketing Manager/Media Buyer will build and maintain vendor (network and affiliate) relationships and identify new business opportunities. A creative, enthusiastic marketer is sought to support our performance-based marketing initiatives.
The Online Marketing Manager/Media Buyer is a direct response marketing position, focused on online media buying for a dynamic, results-driven industry leader.
- Specific Duties
- Provide planning and operational ownership of media activities and accounts
- Independently manage performance-based media buys
- Control profitability via thorough and thoughtful optimization
- Increase volume by expanding existing buys and initiating new relationships
- Perform data analysis and projections
- Report on all activities
- Desired Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business from a reputable university or commensurate experience
- Experience with campaign tracking and ROI-driven optimization
- Media buying/planning experience
- Ad tracking and trafficking and optimization experience
- Strong analytical abilities
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Team player: We work too many hours in close proximity not to get along, so we need someone who is consummately personable, professional, punctual and who is not afraid of responsibility and hard work to achieve extraordinary results
Preferred, but not required:
- 2+ Performance-based media experience (CPC/CPA/CPL)
- 2+ Years Lead Generation experience
- Working knowledge of Search Engine Marketing best practices (SEM)
