Affinity Labs is seeking an intern interested in learning the intricacies of social networks from a pioneer in consumer portals.

The Laboratory is conveniently located in a downtown San Francisco office.

We are looking for a student or recent college graduate with tremendous enthusiasm and drive. This is an excellent chance to get your foot in the door of a tech career.

Specific Duties

• Research news, educational, career, and training content for Affinity Labs portfolio of sites
• Upload articles, videos, photos while working with Editors and Web Producers to plan effective content strategies
• Research scholarship information for all portals
• Correspond with site users and resolve user problems
• Be a “super-user” of the sites: Reviewing, commenting and rating content, suggesting improvements, guerilla marketing, etc
• QA and testing of new functionality

Desired Qualification

This is NOT a visual design or developer position. Your primary job will be to source content and for our websites; working closely with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to build scalable and innovative consumer portals.

• Internet savvy
• Detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal skills with experience in business communications
• Basic knowledge of HTML a plus
